NEW YORK – One person was killed and three others were injured on Saturday in a shooting at a mechanic’s workshop in New York City, authorities said.

The incident took place while a party was taking place in the Richmond Hills neighborhood of Queens, WABC-TV reported.
According to the New York City Police Department, the gunman opened fire at the store at about 9:40 p.m. EDT, WCBS-TV reported.
A man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the television channel.
He was identified as Justin Baerga, 24, who was shot in the head, WABC reported. He was taken to a hospital in the region, where he was pronounced dead.
A 25-year-old man was shot in the leg and was also taken to hospital, according to the television channel.
A 17-year-old woman suffered a torso abrasion and an 18-year-old woman received a head abrasion, WABC reported. Both refused medical attention at the scene.
All three are expected to survive, the television channel said.
It is not clear what led to the shooting. No arrests have been made and police say the investigation is still ongoing.
