One of our favorite new beach bars in Dubai, February 30, adds another Sunday brunch to the list of events this weekend. The four-hour package combines sharing plates of crispy beef, seared salmon and shrimp tempura, with an à la carte choice of main course: think Chilean sea bass, grilled chicken or an Angus beef burger with a dessert of your choice, with free flowing drinks and a live DJ set.

The Lighthouse, Dubai Design District

The original outpost of The Lighthouse in the Dubai Design District (now also found at Time Out Market, Nakheel Mall and Mall of the Emirates) serves a shared-style brunch every Saturday and Sunday. Available from noon to 4pm, the generous menu includes seven starters, eight mains and four desserts – so come hungry. Brand new dishes include crispy halloumi with homemade tomato jam, yuzu lobster po’boy, and cacio e pepe with onsen egg.

Sunday is a day to spend with family, and The Ritz-Carlton, DIFC has the perfect family-friendly Sunday brunch for you. Caspian caviar

Caviar Kaspia brings a more traditional version of weekend brunch every Saturday and Sunday. The Paris-inspired DIFC hotspot presents four courses of fine French cuisine for 375 Dhs, including a hot drink and choice of mocktail or cocktail. Served to the topping tunes of Kaspia’s resident DJ, expect freshly baked viennoiseries with homemade jam, followed by Kaspia’s signature beef carpaccio and delicately fried chicken served with lemon mayonnaise. Then choose eggs cooked to order: whether your brunch dish is scrambled, eggs À la Coque, eggs Benedict, or mimosa eggs, all served with Oscietra caviar or smoked salmon. Main courses include a stuffed croissant with cured beef or a buckwheat risotto, followed by desserts of pain perdu with wild berries and whipped mascarpone, the Rosewater Milk Cake or a stack of fluffy pancakes.

Mimi Kakushi

As brunch moves in for the summer, Mimi Kakushi is the perfect place to enjoy fine cuisine and masterful mixology in a beautiful setting. With three-hour packs between noon and 4 p.m., citrus-salted edamame and picked yuzu daikon will guide you from the start as you prepare for the feast ahead. Next, you’ll see the table filled with sushi and ceviches, before a round of hot appetizers. If Asian cuisine is one of your favorites, you’ll struggle to choose between the main dishes. There’s marinated black cod with citrus miso sauce, as well as grilled salmon with green chili sauce, candied corn baby chicken, grilled Angus fillet with sweet garlic, and wild season mushrooms with umami-laden seaweed butter. For a multi-course dining experience, Carna serves a Sunday roast brunch with packages starting at Dhs295. It starts with fancy appetizers – including smoked salmon with shallots, capers, lemons and chives, a shrimp cocktail salad and the delicious vintage melon and bresola. Then you’ll receive the main event: sliced ​​back of beef, roast vegetables, potatoes (both roasted and mashed) and huge Yorkshire puddings.
