2. Hepburn Bathhouse and Spa, Hepburn Springs/Daylesford

For a traditional wellness bathing experience, head to the historic Hepburn Bathhouse, where you can enjoy mineral-rich water straight from the natural spring. The bathhouse has been helping visitors heal and relax since they first opened their doors in 1895.

5. Metung Hot Springs, Metung

East Gippsland’s thermal baths can be found in the sleepy fishing village of Metung.

From mid-2022, you can soak in seven hot springs, two cold plunge pools, geothermal showers, a reflexology walk, relaxation lounges and drones. Enjoy expansive views of Gippsland Lakes and a freshwater lagoon as you explore the trails around the 12-acre site.

6. Alba Thermal Springs & Spa, Mornington Peninsula

Mark your calendar! In late 2022, Alba Thermal Springs & Spa will open on a sprawling 15-acre space featuring luxurious bathing experiences, spa treatments and wellness rituals.

There will be indoor, outdoor and outdoor treatment rooms and swimming pools offering a uniquely modern bathing experience.

Japan has a long tradition of public baths and you can experience a bit of that in Collingwood.

Japanese Bath House is a wonderful and relaxing experience where you can relax, detox and de-stress in an intimate yet shared setting (genders are separated). The heated mineral water of the onsen helps to cleanse your body, while revitalizing your mind, body and soul.
