Adele posted on Instagram what was meant to be an exciting announcement, but all it has done is leave fans furious.
The star shared a message about her upcoming London show this Friday, saying it would “blow away her fans’ socks”. She uploaded a photo of herself along with Mahalia, Gabrielle, Kacey Musgraves and Tiana Major9, who are all performing on the same show.

“An all-female bill, from new artists that I’m obsessed with,” the singer shared excitedly. “It’s going to be incredible. There’s a whole crowd of us performing all day. I can’t wait to share the main stage with you ladies.”
Despite the exciting news, Adele’s fans were more fixated on her much delayed residency in Las Vegaswhich she has not yet spoken about publicly.
One person wrote in a response to the post, “Are you kidding? And you’re still quiet about Vegas? I’m disappointed in you.”

“ARE YOU COMING TO LAS VEGAS OR NOT?” one person gasped, while another wrote, “Damn, Adele, so I guess it’s the ones who bought tickets to Las Vegas.”
The residency was to begin in January, but was postponed a day before opening nightdue to COVID related reasons.
Rumors circulated after the announcement, however, with some alleged “explosive arguments” behind the scenes between Adele and set designer Esmeralda Devlinand others suggested the postponement was due to: “Trouble” Between Adele and Her Boyfriend Rich Paul†
it was later reported that the shows would continue between June and September this year, but nothing has been confirmed since. At the time, a source said Adele had “made it clear that next year is not an option” and that everyone involved “would like to capture the dates”.

Last month it was reported that the staff of Caesar’s Palace, where her residence will take place, has been laid off during the American summer, until September. Rod Stewart will begin his own residency at the venue in late September, meaning Adele will certainly not be able to do any shows at that time.
Fans are sharing their growing frustration with the situation online, especially for people who planned to fly to Vegas to see the singer.
One person wrote to her on Twitter: “Can you guys move the residency shows already so I can see my tickets to get my money back?!???”
Another has given up on the wait: “I’ve decided to request my refund from the Adele Vegas show. It’s been four months and we haven’t been notified of new dates. As these flight prices currently are, it’s no longer mine worth.”
