Heard’s star power has been clouded in recent months due to a very public defamation lawsuit, in which her ex-husband Johnny Depp sued her for a 2018 Washington Post column who he said physically abused her.

The verdict left Heard ordered to pay Depp $10 million in damages and $350,000 in punitive damagesabout $14 million in total, as the jury concluded that his reputation and career had been damaged as a result of the publication.

During the trial, social media favored Depp over Heard, portraying him as a folk hero and she as a liar, leading to numerous memes and TikToks mocking her testimony.
