In April, BOSSIP reported that: RHOP star Ashley Darby filed for divorce from her husband, Michael Darby† Things get real as the pageant queen’s divorce unfolds in the final season. Though she saves details for the show, showbiz Cheat sheet reports Ashley opened up about her split on an episode of the side piece podcasting.
“Unfortunately I can’t say too much about it because it’s part of the show and we’re filming right now. But of course, when we’re done filming, I’ll be happy to tell you about it.”
In a previous statement on Bravo’s Daily Dish, Ashley said she and her Aussie senior husband are both at “very different stages” in their lives and have “very different goals” for their future. However, she confirmed that a specific situation was the drop that broke the camel’s back.
“But yes, there was an event in the end that was the catalyst for what was already happening between us. I don’t hate him. There is no resentment. It’s just the way it is.”
In addition to covering the split in public and in front of cameras, Ashley said she still lives with her 62-year-old ex. Although she said that living with Michael is “challenging”, it helps with co-parenting their sons dean2, and Dylan1.
†We are roommates† All we’re talking about is the kids,” Ashley explained when asked if there was any seduction or a hint of romance left.
The soon-to-be single housewife celebrated her 34th birthday with a beautiful photo shoot last week. “In my time and I love it,” she captioned a glowing photo in her birthday suit.
“I am really grateful for every turn that has brought me here. Learning to trust and let go,” Ashley wrote on Instagram.
