Becky Lynch responds to the anniversary of her WWE debut

June 26 marks the eighth anniversary of Becky Lynch’s 2014 WWE NXT televised debut.

The debut is infamous for Becky’s entrance, performing an Irish dance before her match with former WWE star Summer Rae. Although she never held the NXT Women’s Championship, Becky had memorable matches and feuds with stars such as Sasha Banks, Bayley and Charlotte Flair.

The above women became known as the Four Horsewomen and played an important role in the Women’s Revolution in both NXT and the main squad. Becky Lynch became the inaugural SmackDown Women’s Champion and a WrestleMania main-eventer.

Big Time Becks recently posted a throwback photo from her NXT debut on Twitter in response to her eighth birthday. She mentioned the Irish dance and its success in the tweet:

“8 years ago I had perhaps the most embarrassing debut in NXT/WWE history. Today I have accomplished almost everything I could have ever dreamed of. And tonight I will be holding the main event as I always do on #wwehidalgo. don’t tell me where you’re going,” she wrote.
