The Boston Fire Department is investigating after a two-alarm fire displaced four people and a dog in Jamaica Plains Friday night, the department said.

The fire was quickly extinguished on all three floors of the Mendon Street building, according to a series of tweets from the Boston Fire Department.

The investigation into the cause of the fire is still ongoing.
