Cannes 2022 Video #8: Elvis, Godland, Tori and Lokita | Festivals & Awards

The 75th edition of the Cannes Film Festival is now history. I couldn’t stay for the entire festival this year, but I want to thank Scott Dummler, Bob Long and our correspondents Ben Kenigsberg, Jason Gorber, Lisa Nesselson and Isaac Feldberg for making sure the show went on. No release date has been announced yet, but Östlund said at the press conference that he may add additional scenes to the film before the theatrical release…

The Marche in Cannes was almost back to normal this year, after last year’s sparsely visited market due to covid. Here’s a list of a few other notable sales that took place during the festival…

Over the past few years I’ve had the pleasure of interviewing Pamela Guest and her daughter Liz about some of the projects they’ve worked on. If you remember, they both strive to bring more substantive roles for women to Hollywood and the independent film scene. Pamela has also been a powerful voice at the forefront of the #MeToo movement. This year she gave us a short update on their current projects….
