British press releases revealed that Chelsea had reached an agreement with Leeds United over the deal of Brazilian midfielder Rafinha during the current summer transfer window.
And Britain’s Daily Mail reported that Chelsea ruined Arsenal’s attempts to sign Rafinha in the current Mercato summer.
The newspaper added that Chelsea and Leeds are at an advanced stage of negotiations to end the Rafinha deal, and it remains only to reach an agreement with the player’s agent on personal terms and the contract.
The financial value of the Chelsea contract with Rafinha, in addition to the variables, is expected to be around 65 million euros.

David Ornstein, a journalist with British newspaper “The Athletic”, said Brazilian Rafinha expressed his conviction in Arsenal’s English project led by coach Mikel Arteta as he sees it as the best thing for him at competitive level in the Premiership league .†
Ornstein added that Rafinha chose to join Arsenal despite the interest of several other European clubs to take him on this summer, led by Barcelona, Liverpool and Tottenham respectively.†
