Planting Day in Presidents Park

In partnership with Wyndham City, the Werribee River Association is inviting people to a big planting day on Friday, June 24 from 9 a.m. to noon. Meet in the Shaws Bridge car park off Heaths Road.

CWA Werribee Branch

Are you looking for an opportunity for friendship, personal development and advocacy in support of relevant social issues? The CWA Werribee Branch has served the Wyndham area for 74 years and has a great history of helping members with these opportunities. We also support needy causes and charities locally, across Australia and abroad. Meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at the Wyndham Park Community Center at 1:00 PM. New walking group for young and old

Generations in Gaia is a monthly walk for all ages exploring the open spaces and nature trails of Wyndham. The walks visit a new site each month and are specially tailored for little legs, delicate bodies and curious minds.

Bollywood dance fitness

A lively and entertaining dance suitable for beginners. It gives a full body workout as you dance to the beat of joy with the powerful nature of Bollywood music. It combines classical Indian strides with folk, latin and hip-hop styles and provides a fast moving and lively dance workout that is great for enjoyable group practice. Classes take place every Tuesday at Braybrook Community Hub, 6:15pm-7:15pm through June 21st. Cost: $54 or $45 for concession.

The Williamstown Community Center offers a regular walking group on Wednesdays that walk the area from 10:15am-11am. New members are welcome. This activity is free and includes morning tea.

All aboard the club

The All Aboard Club is 85 years old. It is a social association that is committed to charities, with speakers, theater and trips. It meets in the rooms of Williamstown City Hall at 1:30 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of the month. New members welcome.

AeroSpeakers Toastmasters Club

Do you want to develop self-confidence in communication, language skills and clarity in writing? AeroSpeakers Toastmasters Club would like to invite all residents to join in on the first and third Thursdays of each month to help develop public speaking, communication and leadership skills. Communal lunch and morning tea

The Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Williamstown will be hosting a complimentary morning tea and lunch community every Friday at the Parish Center on Nelson Place. The morning tea starts from 10am. Coffee and tea are served, in addition to all kinds of fun activities such as knitting, board games and puzzles. Lunch is from 12.00-13.00, takeaway meals are possible. Check-in and vaccination status are required.

Residents of Altona Meadows and Newport are invited to join a Heart Foundation walking group that meets on Wednesday and Friday. The group runs for 60 minutes and is a great way to socialize and get active at the same time. Members must register with the Heart Foundation to become a member.

Williamstown Craft Market

Commonwealth Reserve comes alive on the third Sunday of the month for the Williamstown Craft Market. The market has over 50 stalls selling everything from handmade crafts, homegrown produce and food vendors. There will also be live music. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
