COVID-19 in WA: Seven more overnight deaths as cases drop

WA has reported a further seven deaths from COVID-19 as the number of new cases has fallen slightly.

The Ministry of Health registered a total of 5,548 new cases in the latest update, compared to 5,921 the day before.

The deaths, reported to WA Health on Wednesday but dated May 24, were three women in their 90s, one man in their 90s, one man in their 80s and two men in their 70s.
