COVID chaos continues as Brisbane and Essendon lose players ahead of crucial clash

COVID continues to wreak havoc with Sunday afternoon’s game between Brisbane and Essendon.

The Lions have been forced into yet another change as Noah Answorth became the latest player to introduce health and safety protocols.

His lockout comes at the back of Harris Andrews, Keidean Coleman and Dan McStay who are all putting in place protocols as Queensland faces another wave of the virus.

But their opponents Essendon has not escaped the COVID drama, revealing on Saturday morning that dashing defender Mason Redman had also put in place pre-match protocols.

Both sides will miss key players for the crucial clash as the Lions look to keep pace with the rest of the top four.
