Ottawa Fire Services advises motorists and others in the West End on Wednesday not to worry if they see flames and smoke south of the Queensway, just east of Eagleson Road.
The National Research Council’s CANMET complex will conduct a fire test on their property between 417 and Timm Drive in Bells Corners from approximately 9:00 am.
“Flames and smoke WILL be visible from the 417,” the fire service said in a tweet.
Ottawa Fire will also be in attendance.
