Elden Ring Datamine explores the unused contents of merchant Kalé taking him to the depths of Leyndell. brings

Unused Elden Ring content is revealed every day via datamines, and the most recent discoveries center around Kalé, revealing that the NPC was not a regular trader during the early development phase of the game.

In the final version of the game, he is one of the first NPCs that players discover once they land in Limgrave. Kalé is present in Elleh’s church and never moves from the spot, no matter how far players get in the game.

According to a recent revelation by a data miner working on Sekiro Dubi’s handle, the only member of the nomadic merchants by the name could ever settle somewhere in the Lands Between. He was able to settle in several areas, eventually reaching the Subterranean Shunning Grounds under Leyndell.

Sekiro Dubi suggests that, according to his discovery, after Godrick’s tainted defeat at Stormveil Castle, Kalé would begin to move and ascend from Elleh’s church. He would begin a search for the resting place of the Grand Caravan, and the Defiled One would eventually meet him every now and then as they explored Liurnia, eventually making their way to Altus and then Leyndell.

Just like the Tarnished, Kalé would also travel in Elden Ring

As I went through the content for this quest, I discovered that there is an earlier version of Kalé that you would encounter wandering on his mule by the bridge. Adds more “I’m of a Nomadic people” theme #ELDENRING https://t.co/haGAPwUlvR

After moving from Limgrave, Kalé would then be found in Elden Ring’s Liurnia of the Lakes and later in Leyndell, the royal capital. His location shift would correspond to the discovery of letters from the Grand Caravan carried by birds, which would allow the merchant to follow them throughout the Lands Between and set up shop in various places.

The final version of the game doesn’t provide much context regarding the area of the Subterranean Shunning Grounds, which can only be accessed after the player defeats the area’s boss and attacks the illusory altar to reveal a path that goes even further. goes down.

I’ve worked so hard over the past few months trying to understand how to properly restore Kalé’s questline back into Elden Ring. Finally I can release the video. A very emotional quest of a nomadic merchant who wants to reunite with his ancestors. https://t.co/6htVFUTaOB

This hidden location is a huge pit surrounded by galleries and filled with the dissected corpses of the nomadic merchants. While not all of them are dead, the few that are alive will attack the player or just keep to themselves and play a haunting melody with their stringed instruments that will fill the grave.

At the bottom of the pit (which can be accessed after a series of careful drop-downs), the Elden Ring Tarnished will discover the door to the Three Fingers. Here, in previous versions of the game, Kalé is said to have explicitly explained that the Grand Caravan was actually buried beneath Leyndell, along with the Three Fingers, on suspicion of worshiping the sinister power.

The pit of corpses is what remains of the merchant and his people, and Kalé then had to go on cursing the Golden Order for the heinous deed, all the while embracing the Flame of Madness, though unsuccessfully.

That’s why I had recorded a video at the time with “When a Blind Man Cries as the music background, making Kale just walk into Stormveilyoutube.com/watch?v=lzvP4u…

This has been a pretty substantial discovery by Sekiro Dubi. There has been much speculation by the community about the origins of the Nomadic Merchants, their ties to the Grand Caravan, and why they were able to use the Flame of Frenzy when opposed by players.

The datamine sheds a lot of light on their plight and the horrific treatment their entire race faced at the hands of Elden Ring’s Golden Order.
