Emirates News Agency – Brazilian Flamengo Returns Vidal to South America After 15 Years in Europe

ABU DHABI, July 14 (WAM) – Brazilian football club Flamengo has signed Chilean international Arturo Vidal on a free transfer after the player left Inter Milan.

Inter ended the contract of Vidal, 35, by mutual consent between the two sides on Monday, before the player joined the prestigious Brazilian club to return to South America after nearly 15 years of European professionalism.

Vidal, the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich player, joined Inter in 2020, but Vidal was in the starting lineup for Inter in just two matches in the Italian league last season.

Vidal started his European career in 2007 when he moved from Chile’s Colo-Colo team to Germany’s Bayer Leverkusen and spent 4 years in the German league before moving to Italian Juventus and then Bayern Munich and then Barcelona before joining Inter came.
