Everything free at the Port Authority after investigation of suspicious package

HELL’S KITCHEN, Manhattan (WABC) — Police have released everything after a suspicious package search resulted in the Port Authority bus station being partially evacuated.

The north wing of the Port Authority was evacuated and 8th Avenue was closed between 40th Street and 42nd Street while the police and bomb disposal agency investigated.

The NJ Transit bus service has been temporarily relocated to the south wing of the terminal during the investigation.

No injuries were reported.
