Another WA family is in mourning – and another teenage driver is under investigation – after an 18-year-old girl was killed in a crash in the Goldfields.
Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating the crash, which occurred Saturday afternoon near the abandoned mining town of Feysville.
A Toyota Prado driving south on a dirt road near Hannan Lake when it rolled over, leaving an 18-year-old female passenger with fatal injuries.
The 17-year-old male driver of the vehicle was taken to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries.
It is the third fatal accident involving a teenage driver on WA roads in a month.
Last weekend Dale Martin and his friend Ryleigh Land, both 17, died when the ute Mr Martin drove off the South Western Highway in Wagerup and rolled over.
And in late May, a 15-year-old girl died after a car driven by a 17-year-old boy crashed head-on on Gingin Brook Road.
Investigators would like to speak to anyone who saw the crash in Feysville or the Prado prior to the crash.
