Former Real Madrid star: Mbappe did not join the royal family for political reasons

After the case is over and Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe chose to stay at his club and refused to move to Real Madrid, the case still touches the sporting community and everyone has spoken in a sports dialogue so far.

Mbappe was on the brink of a free transfer to Real Madrid this summer, but he decided to extend his stay at the Princes’ Garden and extended his contract with the Paris club for the next three years.

And Jese Rodriguez, a former player of Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid, believes Mbappe did not move to Real Madrid due to a political problem.

Jese reveals Mbappe’s desire to play for Real Madrid

Jese explained during his statements to Spanish radio “Cadena Ser”: “I was very surprised that he did not go to Real Madrid, Mbappe told me that he would come to Spain when I was his colleague in Paris.”

“I don’t know why he didn’t come. I think he didn’t come because of the pressure outside football, because of a political problem of the French people,” he added.

“I think he’s been called by people who don’t need to talk about football,” he continued.

He concluded his speech by saying: “If he wanted to make the best decision, be it sporting or economic, he had to go to Real Madrid, but he made the decision that suited him.”

It is noteworthy that Mbappé signed renewal contracts until the summer of 2025, and the financial details of the deal were not announced, but some reports indicated that Mbappé received 100 million euros as a signing bonus, and he receives a salary of up to 50 million euros per year.
