Ghislaine Maxwell handcuffed to court in dramatic sketch as she faces her victims at sentencing

DAMAGED socialite Ghislaine Maxwell was dragged to court for her sentencing today, dressed in a blue prison uniform and handcuffs, as her victims looked on.

The 60-year-old has been jailed for years after caring for dozens of girls for the deranged pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Dramatic court sketches show Maxwell looking at the floor as she is ushered into the courtroom wearing a white mask.

During the morning session of her sentencing hearing, she often played with her hair and adjusted her mask.

The public gallery in the New York Southern District courtroom is full and crowded courtrooms have been made available to the rest of the public.

Epstein victims Sarah Ransome, Elizabeth Stein, Annie Farmer and the accuser known as “Kate” are all present in the courtroom, as well as controversial juror Scotty David.

Wearing a prison-issued uniform, Maxwell spoke only to confirm that she’d read the pre-sentence report and discussed it with her legal team, saying, “I’ve had a chance to read it.”

The Briton has been told she was “regularly involved in a pattern of prohibited sexual activity” as she faces a possible 65-year prison sentence.

Before the hearing, Maxwell entered the room with cuffs around her ankles that rattled as she walked to her seat.

Judge Alison Nathan said she still plans to fine the defendant after the court heard Epstein left her a £10 million bequest.

Maxwell lured vulnerable teens for vile multi-millionaire Epstein to abuse his various luxurious properties – describing the pair as “partners in crime”.

In what has been described as the ‘trial of the century’, the jury heard Maxwell string up and ‘serve’ girls as young as 14 for Epstein — even participating in the abuse himself.

The prosecutor said Maxwell was a “sophisticated predator who knew exactly what she was doing” who “used the same script over and over.”

She was convicted by a jury in December of five of the six cases of human trafficking.
