Blizzard has confirmed that the beta for Overwatch 2, which was announced as free-to-play during Xbox + Bethesda’s Showcase, will arrive at the end of this month on June 28.
With a livestream event airing overnight, expected to feature the game’s new hero Junker Queen, the game’s live service model, and the seasonal content plan, beta signups are expected to open tomorrow morning.
“We can’t wait to roll out the beginning of the Overwatch 2 experience on October 4 and introduce an exciting new competitive vision, with great new content and a reinvention of the iconic heroes, maps and gameplay that made the original game so immersive. made,” Blizzard president Mike Ybarra said last weekend.

Introducing both cross-play and a 5V5 configuration, Overwatch 2 will be released on October 4 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
