Joe Biden cheat sheet gives detailed instructions to sit down, keep comments to 2 minutes

Joe Biden accidentally held up a comically detailed cheat sheet on Thursday instructing the gaffe-prone leader of the free world how to act.

President Joe Biden on Thursday accidentally held up a comically detailed cheat sheet, prepared by his staff, in which he instructed the gaffe-prone leader of the free world to “take YOUR seat” and limit his comments to “two minutes”.

A photographer snapped a photo of the document as Mr. Biden held it up backwards during a meeting with wind industry executives he attended after skipping his administration’s morning meeting with oil companies to fight record gas prices. NY Post reports.

Biden’s prepared instructions — titled “Offshore Wind Drop-By Sequence of Events” — tell the president to “enter the Roosevelt Room and say hello to the participants.”

Then the paper says, “YOU take YOUR seat.”

The typed note states that after the reporters arrive, “YOU will give brief comments (2 minutes).”

When reporters leave, “ASK Liz Shuler, President, AFL-CIO, a question” and then “You thank the participants” and “YOU are leaving.”

Mr Biden’s use of staff notes at events has been rather embarrassing, such as last July when an aide wrote, “Sir, there is something on your chin.”

He also held that note so that it could face journalists and photographers.

Mr Biden has reportedly been furious with staff for trying to control his message to the point of even contradicting his unexpected public statements without consulting him.

He reportedly reminded staff that he is president after they said he did not mean what he said in March when he called for Russian President Vladimir Putin to be removed from power over Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

“The so-called cleanup campaign, he has told advisers, is undermining him and suffocating the authenticity that fueled his rise. Worse, it fuels a Republican topic of conversation that he’s not in full charge of,” NBC News reported last month.

A day after Mr Biden’s comment about Mr Putin, White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain retweeted A message from CNN White House correspondent John Harwood who said Mr Biden’s comment showed a “significant lack of discipline”.

Republicans often accuse the 79-year-old president of being mentally in decline.

Former President Donald Trump claimed ahead of the 2020 election that Biden had been cognitively “shot”.
