Maddie Ziegler Remembers Dance Mom Trauma, Will Never Talk To Abby Lee Miller Again

In a recent diatribe, Abby Lee Miller slammed dance moms alums, accusing them of “leaving” her.

While many felt sorry for Miller during her battle with cancer and paralysis, her complaints did not go away well.

Now Maddie Ziegler is speaking out, identifying Miller as a major source of trauma (obviously).

She is more than happy to announce that Miller is gone from her life forever.

19-year-old Maddie Ziegler is easily one of the most famous survivors of the… dance moms glove.

Speak with cosmopolitanshe fully admits that her childhood on reality TV didn’t make the best impression.

“People thought I was a brat because in all my interviews I would say, ‘I’m the best. I know I’m going to win,’” Maddire shouted.

Of course Maddie was only 8 years old when she made her dance moms debut.

“But,” Maddie explained, “that’s because the producer told me.”

She confirmed, “I don’t think I’m better than everyone else.”

“I just did what they told me to do,” Maddie recalls.

The young entrepreneur admitted she went along “because I thought you did.”

Maddie didn’t mince words, admitted, “They made you fail.”

Abby Lee Miller has been widely condemned for toxic, racist and even abusive behavior on the show.

There is simply no excuse for yelling at children or making fun of them for their failures.

As a young adult, Maddie had years to come to terms with the damage Miller inflicted.

Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller made a dramatic warning to a group of children as they mimicked a model of a human heart. Yaks.

“It’s weird because there were some really great times,” Maddie noted.

“But,” she continued, “there were also a lot of things that were really, really not great for us kids.”

Maddie noted, among other things, that she was not allowed to befriend other dancers.

“I’ve had to unlearn a lot of those things,” Maddie admitted.

Some child stars grow up watching old episodes they filmed.

Maddie has told she doesn’t need a walk down dance moms memory job.

“I kind of watched an episode from the start to show my friend…” Maddie told me.

“And we were both like, ‘This is sad. We need to turn this off,’” she admitted.

Many people had the exact same reaction when the series originally aired.

Maddie said her family didn’t want to stick to the program and at one point tried to leave.

A contract with the network forced her to continue participating, unfortunately.

“My family and I have really tried to leave for the past three seasons,” revealed Maddie.

Abby Lee Miller dramatically wipes a tear from her eye at Dance Moms. Of course, she is no longer on the show and even went to jail.

“But when you have a contract, it’s very difficult,” she complained.

“Eventually,” Maddie added, “I finally got out.”

We all remember Miller’s reaction to Maddie and Mackenzie’s departure. She locked herself in an office and sobbed.

Abby Lee Miller is very sad in this photo. She talks about her upcoming time in prison.

“She was distraught. We’ve felt so guilty for a long time,” admitted Maddie.

“She trained me, she helped me,” she acknowledged.

“But also,” Maddie continued, “I knew I would be fine without her and I was tired of being in a toxic environment.”

This suits her just fine.

AL Miller
Does anyone like Abby Lee Miller? Really, nobody at all?

“I feel absolutely at peace,” said Maddie Ziegler.

Therapy, she says, has really helped her process the trauma and deal with emotions in a healthy way.

“I’ve learned that I don’t get in trouble if I feel bad or if I have an injury,” said Maddie. “That’s the biggest difference.”
