There are rumors of the future of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool winger, with the news that he has not reached an agreement to sign a new contract with the Reds.
Mohamed Salah’s contract with Liverpool will expire at the end of next season in June 2023 and Al-Masry has not yet put a pen to a new contract.
And according to the British newspaper “Mirror”, Barcelona informed Mohamed Salah that he could join the Catalan team next summer.
Armed with a £235m sponsorship deal with audio streaming platform Spotify, Barca are starting to revamp their team in preparation for a new challenge to win trophies.
Salah, who is still negotiating a new deal with Liverpool, had promised to move to Barcelona next summer on a free transfer, according to the report.
The Barcelona factor is believed to be a major reason behind the delay in signing a new contract after he informed close friends a few months ago that he was ready to extend his Merseyside stay.
In Barcelona, coach Xavi is already confident in his success in signing Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski, and he spoke with Wolverhampton playmaker Ruben Neves.

While Salah insists he is committed to Liverpool’s new season, even if he is not writing pen to paper on a new contract, the club have two options.
This could force Barcelona or other interested clubs to make an early bid, which is far from the ideal scenario for manager Jurgen Klopp.
Salah confirmed before the Champions League final that he would stay at Liverpool next season, stating: “I don’t want to talk about the contract now, I will definitely stay next season, that’s for sure.”
On the other hand, it was reported that Salah would prefer to stay in the Premier League even if he does not move on to Liverpool, and the other option is to sign with Real Madrid.
