Response of the week

“I don’t have any snake oil on hand right now, but I do know that calendula balm made with avocado oil and a little beeswax is great for burns. Burns from a hot pan or a severe sunburn, it will turn a painful injury into a mild one. It is also very effective in reducing inflammation from bee stings and insect bites.

The downside is that, depending on how severe the sunburn is, you’ll have to look like you’ve fallen into a vat of petroleum jelly for a day or so.”

-Great burn care tip from JP.
