In addition to existing back-to-school offerings, Apple is offering new subscribers to its Apple Music Student subscription a free pair of Beats Flex earphones.

Available to new accounts who subscribe to Apple Music on the cheaper student plan starting June 22, the offer will provide users in the United States and the United Kingdom with free Beats Flex earphones.

According to the terms and conditions of the offer, it only applies to students in the two countries who have not previously subscribed to an Apple Music tier. To qualify for an Apple Music Student subscription, you must complete a bachelor’s degree, postgraduate diploma, or equivalent higher education degree and be verified as a student through Apple or a supported third-party verification partner.

The subscribers are eligible for the earphones once they make their first monthly payment for their subscription. Within 30 days of eligibility, Apple will send accounts instructions to redeem their free Beats Flex earphones, which must be redeemed within 90 days of receipt.

The offer comes not long after Apple opens its 2022 Back to School gift card promotion, which offers gift cards in addition to educational discounts.
