Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson has completed his one-season transfer to Nottingham Forest.
25-year-old Henderson could be Manchester United’s main goalkeeper in the 2020/21 season after surpassing Spaniard David de Gea, but became the second goalkeeper last season.
And the problems Henderson presented after being infected with the Corona virus during the squad’s preparatory period did not help him last season, when he only appeared in three games in all competitions.
Now the goalkeeper has joined the Nottingham Forest club mainly in pursuit of play, having developed during previous loan spells at Sheffield United from 2018 to 2020.
Britain’s “BA Media” news agency has been informed that the deal does not include a permanent purchase option, knowing that the Nottingham team, led by coach Steve Cooper, will pay the player’s salary over the loan period.
Under the terms of the deal, Henderson will not be able to play against Manchester United.
