Raymond Coleman, 20, was taken into custody on charges that included violent touching and public fornication.
He was arrested after investigators released a clear video of the suspect, who has a facial tattoo on his right temple, and police say officers on patrol recognized him Friday morning wearing the same shirt from one of the incidents.
A surveillance image was captured on Sunday, June 12 at 250 Livonia Avenue in Brownsville.
There, police say they grabbed a 12-year-old girl from behind with both hands while the girl’s mother looked on in horror.
Then, on the morning of Tuesday, June 14, more video shows police claiming to be the same man chasing a 38-year-old woman, grabbing her buttocks with both hands.
The second incident occurred near Rockaway and Belmont Avenues.
The suspect, believed to be in his twenties, was last seen wearing a long-sleeved Monopoly T-shirt, Nike baseball cap, brown shorts and sandals.
Police say he was arrested in that same Monopoly T-shirt.
Anyone with additional information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
