French press reports have revealed that Paris Saint-Germain plans to screw up Robert Lewandowski’s transfer to Barcelona by submitting an offer to join him this summer.
And French radio, “Monte Carlo”, said Robert Lewandowski’s name was mentioned during a meeting between Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Louis Campos and the player’s agent, Benny Zahavi.
She indicated that Campos appreciates the veteran Polish star, but there is one crisis, and that is Lewandowski wanting to move to Barcelona, and the striker has already agreed to a three-year contract with the Spanish club.
And Luis Campos, Paris Saint-Germain’s sports adviser, believes Lewandowski will bring real added value to the team.
Barcelona have already made a €32 million bid for Bayern Munich, which has yet to be answered, while Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea have also expressed interest in the player in recent weeks.
Lewandowski has been defending the Bavarian club’s colors since 2014, scoring 344 goals, and his current contract will expire at the end of 2023 meaning he will stay with Bayern for an extra season without renewing his contract, making him a free agent next season and leaves for free.
