“Saint-Germain” agrees with Pochettino to end collaboration

Press releases revealed that French club Paris Saint-Germain had agreed with its coach, Mauricio Pochettino, to end the partnership between them.
Atlantic magazine wrote that both sides agreed to this move during a season analysis that took place last week.
There is still no confirmation from the French capital club.
The French, Zinedine Zidane, the former Real Madrid coach, and Christophe Galtier, the Nice coach, are among the nominees to succeed Argentine Pochettino.
Pochettino was the coach of Saint-Germain in early 2021, succeeding German Thomas Tuchel. Pochettino won the league title with Saint-Germain, but was eliminated in the Champions League against Real Madrid, who later won the championship.
The club fired Leonardo’s sporting director at the end of last season.
RMC had recently announced Zidane’s imminent appointment as Paris Saint-Germain’s technical director, but Zidane’s agent, Ilian Migliacchio, was quick to deny this.
There has been regular speculation in recent times about Pochettino’s future, and it has also been reported that former German coach Joachim Loew could take over from coaching Saint-Germain, who has a very efficient offensive line with the Argentine star. Lionel Messi, along with Frenchman Kilian Mbappe, whom he turned down a professional offer at Real Madrid.
