Numbers Don’t Lie: Starz P-Valley Season 2 Premiere Pulls 4.5 Million Views in Just Three Days
Fans of the critically acclaimed Starz series “P-Valley” have been waiting almost two years for a second season, and a new review report says they couldn’t wait any longer.
Season 2 of “P-Valley” premiered on June 3 and reportedly attracted 4.5 million viewers in the US in its first three days, with the majority of the viewership coming from the Starz app.

Set in the Delta in the fictional town of Chucalissa, Mississippi, the hit series follows the personal lives of strippers who make ends meet in the Pynk, a struggling men’s club owned by flamboyant and non-binary Uncle Clifford (Nicco Annan† The show also has stars Brandee Evans† Shannon Thornton† Elarica Johnson, and Tyler Lepley†
In the Season 1 finale, Pynk stripper Hailey (Elarica Johson) keeps the beloved club from being sold on the auction block with money she stole from her abusive partner. Since then, fans have wondered what happened next.
Per reports, show maker Katori Hall commented on the new review report and fans coming out for the season 2 premiere. She said,
“Our Pynk Posse showed up and showed up! The incredible response to season two feels like a gift after the challenging hiatus of the past few years, but we’re back and we’re just getting started, all of you. I am bursting with pride to see the Pynk Posse grow and the sense of community and family that is forming as we bring this new season to the world.”
“To hear from viewers that they have felt seen, heard and celebrated is exactly what everyone who worked on the show hoped for. This news comes just days after playwright Nicci Gilbert once again called out the creators of “P-Valley” accusing them of stealing her concept for the hit series.
