It is clear that no one was seriously injured in the brawl on June 20.

The video shows a desperate employee using a table to protect himself from the flying chairs approaching him.

Cries of “what the f***?” and “oh my God” and “stop!” can be heard.

The brawl broke out after an altercation between two groups, according to local reports.

Aloha’s bar manager and the bodyguard tried to intervene and stop the men from fighting, but instead the British reportedly turned on them and started throwing chairs at the staff.

The eruption of violence lasted about a minute before the boys rushed down the street.

Bar manager Ricardo Teixeria said: “Around 1 am, two groups collided.

“According to the authorities, some foreign nationalities, namely Irish and English, were involved.

“You can just see for yourself what happened in the images.

“All our staff and security are doing well and there was no damage to the establishment.

“It’s unusual to have this kind of problem.

“Portimao is a quiet city and normally we don’t have these problems with foreigners or locals.”
