Johnson says it took him and a team of designers eight weeks to get his mom’s new home ready, and when she first walked through the front door, everything she saw was brand new.
“I’ve been lucky enough to have bought her a few homes over the years, but this one is a special one, because over the years she’s told me, ‘After a lifetime of traveling, I want this house is my last. That’s my dream,” Johnson explained.
“Mom, there’s no greater feeling than making you happy ~ welcome home ️🌺 I always say, when you have a good mom, you have a chance to become a good, caring person. Let’s all make our mommies very be thankful squeeze this weekend and make them happy.”

“She always has her ‘Smackdown Room’ in her houses where she keeps the coolest Rock/DJ memorabilia, but over the years they’ve gotten insanely busy – so for her new house I had these cool built-ins made and just added a few memorabilia items – posters, University of Miami match balls, movie awards, championship titles, etc. I thought she could add anything she wanted here,” he said.

Johnson says that while her Smackdown Room is her favorite room to bring guests to, it’s his least favorite since the “last” thing he wants to do is hang out while his mom parades guests through what he’s been doing with his life.
As she walks around the room, photographs of Johnson throughout his career are plastered on the walls and his awards are displayed in a floor-to-ceiling cabinet.
“But the truth is, when I’m BY MYSELF, these Smackdown rooms she creates have such positive energy and beautiful mana. Always a great reminder for me to never forget where I came and always be grateful for the grind ,” he said.
Johnson closed with: “Welcome home mommy ️”
