You don’t have to wonder which games you can play when you subscribe to PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium. Twitter user Wario64 has noticed that Sony has published its game catalog for those who sign up for PS Plus’ two more expensive plans. As previously suggested, the company offers a mix of big names, classics (for Premium users), and lower profile titles.
You can expect well-known games like Death Strandingvarious Final Fantasy releases and Red Dead Redemption 2 alongside big PS4 and PS5 offers like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla† Demon Souls† Ghost of Tsushima and Spider-Man: Miles Morales† However, there are some curious splits. you can play Uncharted 4 and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy through the mid-priced Extra tier, but you’ll need Premium to revisit the series’ roots through the Nathan Drake Collection – it’s considered a classic, even if it’s a PS4 title.
There’s also a clearer view of Premium’s time-limited free trials. You get the chance to try it Horizon Forbidden West† Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection and Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands alongside nine other games at the time of writing. You don’t want to subscribe to Premium with the trials in mind, but it can be nice perks on top of the core perks.
Extra costs $15 per month in the US, while Premium is $18 per month. The full list highlights the differences between the new PS Plus and Xbox Game Pass. While Sony does include some recent games in its more expensive tiers, it doesn’t make a point of adding games on launch day, as Microsoft sometimes does. This is a bonus for PlayStation fans, not a substitute for buying the latest blockbusters.
