Twitter reveals “most tweeted about games” in the first half of 2022

It’s been quite a year for video games so far – with titles like Elden Ring, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. There are also plenty of games to look forward to later this year and into 2023.

To get a sense of what’s hot within the video game community right now, Twitter has again gathered some data — showing that there were about 1.5 billion tweets in gaming in the first half of the year.

So without further ado, here are the most tweeted about games (worldwide) this year so far. As you can see, The Legend of Zelda made the cut… we suspect it has something to do with Nintendo’s announcement in March this year that it would delay The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 until 2023 .
