Ubisoft’s Roller Champions skates to Switch this week

Nintendo eShop has skipped the release date of Ubisoft’s free-to-play Roller Champions and it’s arriving on the system this week. The game, announced all the way back at E3 2019, finally arrives on the Switch on June 21. The game was released on other consoles last month and the Switch version was out sometime in 2022 at the time.

Since Ubisoft hasn’t announced it, it may not launch on the 21st, but if the eShop says it will…

Welcome to 2032. Arenas are being built all over the world and fans are rushing to the stands to admire their modern day heroes, the Roller Champions. Rolling up to 100 miles per hour, they tackle opponents, wall skate and dunk as thousands of fans shout their names.

Play as Roller Champion in a team of three against three. The rules are simple: take the ball, make a round while maintaining team possession, dodge opponents and score. Go for more points by completing extra rounds before attempting a goal. Win fans after every match to compete in bigger arenas. Customize characters and create a unique destiny.

eShop listing spotted by Nintendo Everything.
