Weather update in Bengaluru for match times on June 19

The final T20I of the India vs South Africa series takes place tonight at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Both countries have won two T20Is each in the series so far and the winner of tonight’s battle will win the trophy.

Fans can expect a blast of a match at M Chinnaswamy Stadium. However, rain could be the bummer in the highly anticipated encounter. According to AccuWeather, thunderstorms are forecast in Bengaluru at 7:00 PM, the start time of the match.

The weather forecasts indicate that skies will remain cloudy from 8pm to 11pm, with a 30 to 40% chance of rain. It should come as no surprise if the DLS method comes into play tonight at M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

The captain who wins the toss will bowl first because of the rain factor. Looking at the current weather forecast, a match should take place in Bengaluru, and fans should get a winner in this series.

Overs will be cleared from both innings if game starts after 8pm in Bengaluru

The scheduled start time for the match at M Chinnaswamy Stadium is 7:00 PM local time. Under the rules, no overs will be deducted if the game starts even one hour after the scheduled start time, but if rain does not allow play until 8:00 PM, the umpires will deduct the overs.

A minimum of five overs must be bowled in both innings to determine a winner. It will be interesting to see which team comes out on top when a match takes place at M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

If the game is abandoned, both teams split the trophy, with the final score being 2-2.
