WWDC stands for ‘wow what thanks continuity’ and other TC news – TechCrunch

On a very special episode of The TechCrunch Podcast this week, I’m joined by Kurt Knight, Apple’s senior director of Platform Product Marketing, who walks us through some of the big updates Apple announced at its WWDC conference on Monday. Kurt specifically tells us about the big new changes to Apple’s Continuity suite of features that extend the experience across all of its devices — and in particular the new FaceTime transfer and Camera Continuity (which lets you use your iPhone as a webcam for your Mac) .

We also chat with TC’s maestro of crypto Lucas Matney, who explains why a fresh prosecution against a high-profile former blockchain startup executive is causing a stir in the decentralized industry this week. He also fails again to help me understand what is going on there.

As always, we also have our rundown of the top stories on the site from the past week. The TechCrunch Podcast comes out weekly on Saturday mornings and you can subscribe, rate and review in Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
